Charles Choi, M.D.

Dr. Charles Choi is the medical director of Clear Water Pain Clinic and is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management. He completed his residency training at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. His interest in pain management began in 1982 and he founded a multidisciplinary pain management program at Fairview General Hospital in January of 1984 and served as the medical director through March 31, 2004. He is a diplomate of the American Board of anesthesiology and board certified in pain management in 1993 and was re-certified in pain management in 2003. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine.

For the past 20 years, Dr. Choi has gradually developed his pain practice model into a premiere minimally invasive interventional pain management practice with emphasis on minimally invasive spinal techniques for the relief of chronic low back and neck pain. As the medical director of Clear Water Pain Clinic Dr. Choi continues to keep abreast of the latest cutting edge spinal interventional techniques including percutaneous lumbar disc decompression (Nucleopalsty, Dekompressor), radiofrequency neurolysis, percutaneous adhesiolysis, as well as spinal cord stimulation and spinal implantable devices.
